Close Apart

Chapter -28

“Separation”

“I thought I had lost everything! It was mayhem. People running all around with burning torches in their hands, beating up almost everybody they can lay hands off. I was in a fix what to do, I had nowhere to go! The miscreants had already started breaking our door when we escaped from there. My dad was already too sick to walk so I was dragging him with me and my mom was right behind us. And I was thinking, where to go! Right then I heard someone calling my name. I turned to saw Rahim chacha was calling me and asking me to hide in his house. I knew that being a muslim majority area it might be the only place to hide in this chaos.

When I had almost made it to his house suddenly I trampled onto something and fell down. I don’t remember anything after that. I came to my senses a week ago. They say that I had a major blow in my head as I fell and was rendered unconscious for all this time.”

“But They got to put you in some hospital! Aditya checked each and every hospitals in that area! But Weren’t in any of them.” Komal was in a strange position. She was battling between her own self and her love.

“Yes, that’s because Rahim chacha admitted me by the name of his daughter Rukhsar. It seemed the best plan to him at that time since Hindus were not at all safe it that region.”

“But somebody should’ve informed me! I was freaking out here!!”

“Aditya! That’s entirely my fault. Till then I haven’t told my mom about you, and she was so shattered that she even didn’t informed our relatives about this. I am yet to find a place for her to stay. I tried to call you up as soon as I regained my consciousness but you had changed your number.”

“That’s a big story!”

“I have lost all my contacts and I didn’t know what to do so I came back here as soon as possible. The security guard informed me about the note you left there for Manish. So I came here.”

“Look it doesn’t matter what happened, what matters is that you’re here. Aditya has waited too long for this day. When everyone stopped thinking that you’d come, it was him who had his hopes up. And the time is here. I guess that the phrase “True love finds its way!” is true after all. Ok guys you two need to talk a lot so I will take your leave now”

Komal rushed out of the spot trying to hide her tears which were by then too evident to be hidden.

Train Encounter Chapter-10 Epilogue "Truth is stranger than fiction" I've heard this many a times from many of my friends, but never got a chance to verify it. This July (I mean july2006) when I was on my way back to my college in Nagpur, I was struck for 6 hours at Tatanagar station, I didn't have the slightest idea that I'll get to face one of my life's most interesting moments. Yes, dear reader!! What you just got through last 9 chapters actually happened to be my fellow co-passenger!! I came to know about her problems when I had started chatting with her when I knew that she too was going in the same train. She didn't want to tell this "weird" incident to me at first, thinking that I won't believe her, but then told at last. I was awestruck when she told me that the person was going to meet her that very day!! Well anyone can guess what amazement did I pass when the person turned out to be her Boyfriend!! I just asked them if I could wr

Close Apart Chapter-3 “Lamb Delight” “Lamb Delight!! Wow, that was some order!” recalled Aditya. Actually, it was about a few months earlier that Manish, a colleague of Aditya tried to hook him up with a girl named Suneeta, who, Manish claimed was one of his girlfriend’s friend. So! On the preplanned Saturday night, Aditya came to this very place and met her. “She was gorgeous!” was Aditya’s first reaction and after a very short stretch of time Aditya started liking everything about her. And when Aditya knew that she was a little bit interested about computer softwares, then it made feel like: “look! Didn’t I tell you earlier? Gorgeous girls like softwares!!” Aditya had this (Well, used to have) symptom of being completely speechless near girls. So he tried to make his order speak of his feelings and he ordered a couple of “Lamb Delights!” Just after the waiter left, Suneeta turned to him and said “Do you know what they have in these?” Aditya was thinking to ask about what she was ref
